 ST. ANDREW’S TEEN GROUP

WELCOMES 8TH GRADERS AND ALL HIGH SCHOOL TEENS!!!

The Teen Group welcomes all 8th graders and high school teens to participate in any of the social, athletic, community service, cultural, friendship building and spiritual events!  

Interested in Leadership?  If you have great ideas, are friendly and want to help the current teen leaders and Dan share the excitement of the group with others, please text Dan Many at 609-706-0981!

St. Andrew Apostle LIFE Youth Group 

January 2020

Sun, Jan 5th -  2:30 – 5:00 pm Escape Room (1400 Berlin Rd, Cherry Hill) followed by Vito’s Pizza across the street.  

Sun, Jan 12th – 2 – 4 pm Rock Climbing at Elite Climbing on 67 Old Kings Highway Maple Shade $20 per teen includes equipment

Mon, Jan 20th – 8:45 – 12 pm Technology Instruction Day with the Seniors of Renaissance – The LIFE teens will assist the Seniors with any of their technology (computers, cell phones, IPads) questions on Martin Luther King Day. 

Sat, Jan 25th2:15 to 7 pmService Project: Deliver and serve dinner to the residents in Camden at Joe’s Place at 1716 Broadway. Meet at church at 2:15. Return by 7 pm. This will be our 2nd time delivering and serving dinner at Joe’s Place!

Sun, Jan 26th2:45 to 5 pmService project & Teen Topic at Parish Hall. We will make bologna and cheese sandwiches for the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden. We will explore a topic being faced by teens these days. Arrive 2:45. Donations of bread, bologna or cheese is welcome!

February 2020

Sun, Feb 2nd – 10 am – Youth Appreciation Mass & Brunch – All teens are invited to attend the 10 am mass and brunch afterwards to receive thanks and appreciation for all of their outreach and service contributions.

Sat, Feb 8th9:30 am – 1 pmTour of Lincoln Financial Field followed by Cheesesteaks in South Philly – Meet in church parking lot. Come and take an inside view of the Home of the Super Bowl Champions. The cost is $10 per adult and $7 per teen. Please text Dan to reserve a spot!

Sun, Feb 9th2:45 to 5 pmService project & Teen Topic at Parish Hall. We will make hundreds of many special clay hearts to support the Samaritan Hospice and their outreach to those who have lost their loved ones. We will explore a topic being faced by teens these days. Arrive 2:45.

Fri, Feb 21st5 pm – Teens are asked to help with set up of the Parish Hall for the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. The dinner begins at 7 pm followed by the scheduled 6 pm mass.

March 2020

Sat, March 7th – 1st Time Event with L.I.F.E - Philadelphia Wings Lacrosse 1 pm Game at the Wells Fargo Center - $22 per ticket – Please sign up and purchase your tickets directly on the https://groupmatics.events/event/LIFE.  Our LIFE teens and their families will sit in the same seating section.

-Our teen group welcomes teens from all schools,  neighborhoods and churches.  

-Our teen members have various roles…..athletes, musicians, singers, dancers, actors/actresses, stage crew, N.H.S members, part-time employees, responsible sons and daughters, committed to helping others, believers in each other and God and many more!

-Our teens love helping others!  
In 2017—2018, our teens and their friends completed 34 service projects totaling  1,200 hours of service!!!!
